The River Falls State Bank was formed in 1949 by a group of area residents who knew an independent; community bank was vital for a community's economic health. For many years, our slogan, "The Community Bank on The Corner" was seen on all of our advertising. Although the slogan may no longer be used, it still defines who and what we are. While the bank has grown both physically and financially since 1949, we remain a strong, independent, full service community bank that is here to meet the financial needs of you, our friends, and customers.
Beautiful Lake Pepin
The wide area of the lake stretches from Bay City, Wisconsin, in the north, down past Pepin, Wisconsin, and Reeds Landing, Minnesota, in the south, with Pepin being just upstream from where the Chippewa River enters the Mississippi. The villages of Maiden Rock and Stockholm border on the Wisconsin side, while Frontenac State Park takes up a large part of the Minnesota side. The largest city on the waterfront is Lake City, Minnesota.
