Linking up with your future workforce.

“Our Ellsworth middle school and high school students are participating in academic and career planning along with schools throughout Wisconsin. Career Cruising enables them to identify their interests and careers leading to those interests”, said Jon Dodge, Principal, Ellsworth Middle School.
A part of this career exploration process is connecting students to employers within their community on potential careers, obtain information on existing work-based learning and career-readiness programs. This connection, called Inspire, with local employers will make it easier for students to engage in opportunities aligned to the careers and career pathway areas of interest.
“Inspire provides an opportunity for employers to connect with students integrating employer profile information, career-based learning opportunities, and access to volunteer online career coaches directly into the Career Cruising Academic and Career Planning (ACP). It allows business and industry to connect with local students while they are in school in hopes of tying their likes and interests to careers to our community,” said Joe Folsom, Executive Director Pierce County Economic Development Corporation.
We invite you to join the growing list of businesses in the region that are setting up their organization’s profiles. There is no cost to do this, but will offer you the ability to connect with your future workforce. A workshop presented by Momentum West and hosted by the Ellsworth School District, Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce and Pierce County EDC will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Ellsworth Elementary School, Community Room. Bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop and we will take you through the process.
